- I'm concerned about this question - all services are now incorporating AI into themselves - but is it such a good thing?

 - I asked a question to ChatGPT - "Imagine a hypothetical situation. People have stopped passing knowledge to each other, and are gaining new knowledge using only ChatGPT - what future awaits us? What could this lead to?"

 - ChatGPT himself wrote this. I didn't ask him to write something bad on purpose. I simply asked him what would result if all people, for example in Notes, relied only on ChatGPT ideas

A future without knowledge transfer between people: a hypothetical situation

   Loss of depth of knowledge:

1. Simplification of information:

ChatGPT, despite its abilities, more often than not provides generalised answers. Without human input, information will become increasingly simplified, losing its depth and nuance.

2. Lack of unique expertise:

Unlike humans, ChatGPT has no personal experience and cannot share real life cases. This will lead to a loss of practical knowledge based on experience and unique situations.

Reduced quality of innovation

1. Lack of creative thinking:

ChatGPT works based on existing data and is not capable of true creative thinking. Without human input, innovation may slow down as there will be no new original ideas.

2. Lack of discussion and debate:

Human interaction often leads to the birth of new ideas through discussion and debate. Without these interactions, the quality of new ideas and solutions can decrease significantly.

Decline in personal and social skills

1. Social isolation:

If people stop interacting to transfer knowledge, this can lead to social isolation. Communication and relationship building skills will suffer.

2. Loss of empathy and emotional intelligence:

Knowledge sharing between people involves emotional and social aspects. Without such interactions, people may lose empathy and emotional intelligence skills.

Degradation of the education system

1. Standardisation of learning:

ChatGPT may offer standardised answers, leading to homogeneity of education. This can make it difficult to develop individual approaches and specialised programmes.

2. Problems with critical thinking:

Interaction with live teachers promotes critical thinking. Without this aspect, students may become less able to analyse and critically evaluate information.

Loss of cultural heritage

1. Forgotten traditions and practices:

Much knowledge is passed on through stories and practices that preserve cultural heritage. Without the transmission of this knowledge from person to person, many traditions and customs may be forgotten.

2. Loss of languages and dialects:

Many languages and dialects exist only in oral form. If people stop passing on knowledge, many of these languages may disappear.

Conclusion

If people stop passing knowledge to each other and rely solely on ChatGPT, it will lead to simplification and degradation of information, reduced innovation, decline in social and personal skills, degradation of the education system and loss of cultural heritage. Live interaction, sharing knowledge and experiences between people is crucial to the development and enrichment of society, and without it, the world can become less creative, less social and culturally poor.
